Gambling stream banned from October, with exceptions
After much public pressure, Twitch is cracking down on casino streams.
However, not all gambling is banned with the new rule.
Twitch now wants to take stronger action against casino and gambling streams as they are a big problem for many.
From October, even some of the biggest gambling sites are to be banned.
The sites can then from October 22 no longer be advertised, streamed neither nor used as a sponsor for streamers.
However, this new regulation has many exceptions and it is suspected that much could be circumvented and thus there are other opportunities to stream and promote casinos.
